When Steve was about 11 years old he was given his first SLR camera. This camera, along with his interest and experimentation with dramatic scenery and interesting light, allowed him to develop a promising transition into the realm of professional photography. He began using every day inspirations and harnessing his creative drive to shoot a diverse and eclectic mix of commercial and creative photography for his clients.
Steve is part of the Banko Media family and the Cloud Empire team while continuing his freelance work on a global scale, being a frequent traveler. He has built an impressive reputation on both the creative and corporate sides of photography and video projects. Some of his most recognized clients range from Much Music, LaLa Surfboards Hawaii, Mr. Fitness Jamaica, Universal Music Canada, Underground Operations, RedHill Toyota, Nuclear Blast records, Vagrant Records, Karl Wolf, Trevor Boris(Comedy Nextwork), Jason McCoy, Kenny Santucci (MTV), Reebok Crossfit GSP, EMI Music, and more recognized corporate and music clients across North America the Caribbean and Europe. It is quite common to see Steve heavily involved in volunteer projects, both local and international, during his down time.
Most recently he accompanied a team of professional skateboarders on a project in Cuba with the goal of helping keep the youth sports culture alive by supplying new shoes and boards as well as reconstructing and repairing the local skate-parks. Steve is one of Canada’s fastest growing photographers and is recognized by an incredible reputation in the Canadian arts community.
