Nana aba Duncan hosts and produces CBC’s Radio 2 Top 20 and works as producer at CBC Radio 3. She started as “Contest Nana” on GO! with Brent Bambury and moved on to produce segments for Metro Morning and Big City Small World on CBC Radio One. She also guest hosts for Morning and Drive on Radio 2. Before her life at CBC, Nana aba spent time during a scholarship by working as a reporter for the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation and eating many roasted plantains sold by the roadside. She was Country Director for Journalists for Human Rights in Ghana after helping JHR start its radio program in the country as a volunteer.
Nana aba was born in Ghana, raised in Newmarket and has lived in Toronto since her days at U of T. She has a Masters in Journalism from University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Science (Hon.) in Psychology from University of Toronto.
